Hi, I'm Matt — a technical strategist, performance coach, and systems builder with a deep belief in doing meaningful work with integrity and care.
For over 20 years, I've scaled engineering systems: from Uber's first self-driving mile, to health tech platforms at Color, to global infrastructure at Twitter. I've coached athletes to first finishes, hard-earned comebacks, and podium breakthroughs. I've also built organizations that lead with purpose, both in business and in service.
This experience led me to found ion Consulting, where I help founders, engineering leaders, and mission-driven teams bring clarity to complexity — whether that's scaling infrastructure, rebooting engineering culture, or aligning product direction with technical reality.
